Beginner Driver Education Course
Our government-approved Beginner Driver Education (BDE) course includes 3 components: classroom/online instruction + in-vehicle training + flexible instruction time. Completing an MTO-approved BDE can make you eligible for an earlier G2 road test and will make you eligible for an insurance discount (varies by insurer).

Course Details
Program structure: what the institute delivers
Online / Theory (30 hours)
A structured program covering road rules, hazard perception, defensive driving principles, and the legal responsibilities of drivers. Theory is delivered through online modules that are self-paces.
In-Car Lessons (10 hours)
One-on-one lessons with progressive skill building: basic controls → complex urban driving → highway / merging → parking etc. Lessons include instructor debriefs and a formal skills checklist.
Assessment & MTO Certification
Upon completing the course each student will receive a Beginner Driver Education Certificate We file the certificate with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation on your behalf.
Instructor credentials & institutional safeguards
All instructors hold current Ministry certification and are trained in examiner expectations.
